Holy Seraphim of Sarov was born around 1760 and died in 1833. He is one of the Russian Orthodox Church's primary spiritual teachers who, after a strictly ascetic life in loneliness and silence, appeared as a prophet and a caregiver.
"Acquiring the Spirit of God is the true aim of our Christian life." It is the essence of the message that the Holy Seraphim teaches us and what he has to say about the meaning of Christian life is something that affects us all.
